Overall Structure of the Group
The Local Government and Energy Industries Superannuation
Scheme was established on 1 July 1997 to
specifically cater for the superannuation
requirements of NSW local Government and Energy Industries employees.
The Schemes are divided into two different asset
pools. A graphical representation and
overview of the different schemes can be viewed below.
FuturePlus Financial Services is owned (50% each) by the Local Government and Energy Industries
Superannuation Schemes and assist the
Trustee to manage the day to day operations
of the Schemes.
Chifley was established in 1991 and is a joint venture between Unions NSW (formerly the Labor Council of NSW), Local Government
Superannuation Scheme and Energy Industries Superannuation Scheme.
