Professional Advantage (PA) is pleased to announce the winners of our 'Business Improvement Awards' for the 2011 Financial Year. There were many strong contenders, and we appreciated the quality of submissions from all participating customers. An interesting perspective of the awards this year was the business commitment to achieving their project goals – near enough was not good enough.

Financial Management Excellence – Awarded to FuturePlus Financial Services PTY LTD

This award recognises customers who have achieved measurable improvements in the financial management of the business.

FuturePlus Financial Services provides the administration and member services for a growing number of superannuation funds. The company worked with PA to achieve a simplified, automated process for receipting and allocation of member/employer super contributions, and secure benefit payments. This was achieved via some custom software development, extending the solid foundation of their existing Infor SunSystems financial management software.

Business benefits include 70% saving in the daily effort of processing a high volume of member contributions, which must comply with strict regulatory requirements. Most importantly, "implementing the receipting and benefit payments solutions as part of our overall SunSystems financial management system has improved business controls and processing efficiency" said Tony Griffin, FuturePlus CFO.
